Morphe 35O Eye Shadow Palette Review

closed-palette

it’s 2017 and I am back with the first of this years blog posts, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year, I hope 2017 is the best year for you all! 2016 was full of many trending brands of cosmetics. From the launch of Kylie Cosmetics to the expanding collection of Jeffree Star Cosmetics, it was definitely the year of success for these makeup brands and many more. One product that stayed in the spotlight through 2016 and still shines bright is the one and only, Morphe 35O eye shadow palette. Restock after restock this palette rapidly sold out. Cult beauty, beautybay and cocktail cosmetics are a few of the websites I tried many times to get hold of the palette from but by the time I got online it was completely sold out! It was every makeup addicts most prized possession. Over the year it did become easier to get hold of, it still sold out quickly but in a few days rather than few hours. I finally managed to get hold of it at the start of November from Cult Beauty and I had never been more excited for a parcel to arrive at my door!

A Youtube sensation, an essential in every makeup artists kit. The Morphe 35O was finally mine! My first Morphe eye shadow palette, and most certainly not my last…

I have used this for a good 2 months now so here I am on beauty blogger duty to report back with a review! Is it worth it? Continue reading to find out!

FULL PALETTE.jpg

This palette consists of both matte and shimmer shades. Morphe did release the 350S which is all the 35O shades in shimmer and 35OM which has all the shades in matte if you have a preference but with the 35O you get the best of both worlds! Firstly, the packaging is sleek and simple but classy. There isn’t too much going on and to be honest the packaging does reflect the affordability of the palette as it does seem as though it might loose its sturdiness after a while but the quality of the eye shadows most certainly make up for this. It is as if the majority of the money goes into the eye shadow formula and not on the packaging which I really can’t complain with. I might be a sucker for cute packaging but I would much rather the quality of the actual product be of high standard with standard packaging.

The palette consists of 35 stunning shades, 24 matte shades and 11 shimmer shades. In my opinion this is perfect, I prefer to have more matte shades in a palette as it makes it perfect for everyday wear with various intensities of shimmer eye shadows if you want to take your look up to the next level! The matte shades range from light whites perfect for the base of the lid or to highlight the brow bone, various browns including reddy brown shades, literally every shade of brown you could dream of owning, you won’t need to reach for a brown shade in another palette when you have the selection that the Morphe 35O does. There are also a few orange and red shades which are trending in the makeup world at the moment and they can create a really popping eye look, in my opinion if I see any of these shades in a palette it is sold to me, to have them all in one palette is a dream!

The shimmer shades in this palette are similar to the mattes. There are subtle white/champagne toned shades, again perfect to highlight the brow bone or to make the inner corner of your eye pop! There are some gorgeous brown shimmers, some more intense than others. A gorgeous gold shimmer and 2 red shimmer shades which are my absolute favourite especially the last shade in the palette, it is so intense, pigmented and stunning I have never come across a shade like it, it is definitely my favourite shade in the palette!

CORNER SHOT.jpg

Overall the shades themselves are so pigmented and I can’t believe how affordable the palette is considering how amazing the quality is. It is an all round perfect palette, if I don’t like a product or a part of a product I’ll say it but this palette is honestly amazing! It isn’t one of those palette that consists of shades I won’t use, I will use every single shade in the palette and that for me is the make it or break it of a palette. If an eye shadow palette only has a few shades I will use it is very disappointing but the Morphe 35O contains a variety of shades but I know I will definitely use them all.

One of my favourite things about this palette is the variety of brown shades gives an eye shadow hack! They range all the way from light up to dark brown which makes it perfect for building up eye shadows. Starting with the lightest shade of brown and building up using a slightly darker brown each time until it is as dark as you like it. This make it much easier to blend rather than going in straight with a dark brown or using a light then straight into dark, building up the colour intensity gives a smooth transfer and makes the overall look simply slay harder!

Is this palette worth the hype? Definitely! I am so glad I finally got hold of this palette and I recommend that you do to, sign up to the waiting list on Cult Beauty to be notified when it is stock. Both Cult Beauty and Glam Saidey restock regularly for anyone wondering where to get the Morphe 35O palette from, especially if you’re from the UK! I will certainly be keeping an eye out for the 350S and 35OM after how amazing the original 35O is and I am definitely going to be purchasing more Morphe palettes especially for my MUA kit which I am going to start building this year.

Hope you enjoyed reading this review, what is your favourite eye shadow palette? Let me know in the comments below!

Make 2017 a great year!

Shaaanxo Palette Review&Swatches!!

Hey guys!!

Today I have a review for you all. I am a huge fan of the YouTuber Shannon Harris mostly known as Shaanxo, The amazing owner of xoBeautyShop which is a high quality brand that produces false lashes, jewellery and makeup brushes! In April the gorgeous beauty vlogger and makeup artist collaborated with bhcosmetics to create the must have Shaaanxo 18 colour eye shadow and lipstick palette! This beautiful palette consists of 2 sides. One which contains a variety of 9 beautiful, pigmented eye shadows and the other side which contains 9 lipsticks from simple nudes to bold reds/purples.

Firstly the eye shadows. The shades are so versatile, There are 4 matte shades. A light cream shade that works well as a brow bone highlight or a base colour. On the second row there is a pale orange shade which is an amazing transfer shade. At the end of the second row is a burnt red shade that looks beautiful in the crease it has to be my favourite crease shade and it can also be used all over the lid with the matte charcoal shade at the end of the third row blended into the crease to create an evening smokey eye!

In the palette there are also 5 shimmer shades. The second shade on the first row is a gorgeous pearly white shade, perfect for the inner corner! The third shade on the first row is a beautiful champagne pink shade that would look gorgeous in the centre of the lid! On the second row the middle shade is a shimmery bronze that again I think would look stunning in the centre of the lid or even all over with a matte shade in the crease! The first shade of the third row is a shimmery purple and the second shade in this row is a shimmery taupe/brown shade. All matte and shimmer shades are very pigmented which I did not expect considering how affordable the palette is!

My favourite eye shadow combination is one I wear most days, this is using the first cream shade all over my lid and the burnt red shade blended into the crease and outer corner, it is so effortless but looks amazing!

Moving on to the lipstick half of the palette. In my honest opinion I have not really used a lot of these shades yet as the 6 shades in the second and third column are all shades I wouldn’t really wear everyday however the shades in the first column are beautiful nudes that I have tried out and loved but I do feel I need to work with them more to have a solid view on them. The beautiful deep red in the middle of the bottom row is one I feel would be the perfect shade to wear in Autumn.

I feel you’re either an eye shadow addict or a lipstick lover. I believe I am an eye shadow addict and that is why this palette is one of my favourites that I own. If you are a lipstick lover it is also amazing as you can get to work with the shades differently. The variety of lipstick shades gives the perfect opportunity to create a gorgeous ombre! They go on so nicely and the formula doesn’t feel too dry on the lips but I am not going to deny that I prefer to reach for my tube lipsticks rather than using a brush to apply these.

Overall I honestly think this palette is a must have. For the price especially, it is $14.50 which in the UK is around £10 and to have it shipped over here was about £5 so it cost me approximately £15 all together which I think is such a good price for the quality of the product and considering it is being shipped over! I give this palette an 8/10 and that is taking into consideration that I don’t really use the lipsticks often. Not only the contents of the palette  but even the packaging is amazing! It is an adorable baby pink colour and each half has a small mirror on the inner flap kinda thing. It is definitely a great palette to own if you are starting out with makeup too!

If you have any more questions about this palette then let me know in the comments!

I’ll be back soon with another post!

Top 3 High End Eye Shadow Palettes!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Hey guys!

In the past few months I have become and eye shadow addict! Eye shadow was never a part of my daily makeup routine but it seems to have made its’ way in there! I have grown my collection of eye shadow palettes and there are now a few high end ones in there too so I have decided to share my top 3 high end eye shadow palettes with you all!

Going in reverse order, the third in my top 3 eye shadow palettes is the Zoeva Rose Golden Eye Shadow Palette! This is my most recently purchased palette and I am so glad I purchased it! The shades are very pigmented and blend very easily, I will definitely be after some more of Zoeva’s eye shadow palettes! I love rose gold, copper and champagne toned eye shadows and that is exactly what this palette gives me! My favourite shade right now is ‘Copper Is King‘ which you can see close up above in the third image. It is perfect for when you want the extra shimmery pop to your eyes however there aren’t many neutral shades so it is not a palette I reach for everyday but I have experimented with a few different looks with these shades and they would be perfect for going out but they are still subtle colours so if you like a bit of shimmer everyday then you would love this! I do prefer a bit of shimmer/champagne shades daily but I don’t want to be looking too done up for just college so that is where my second favourite palette comes in!

The very first high end eye shadow palette I owned, the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! To start with the packaging is beautiful I love it! (definitely not because it’s rose gold…) hehe! I love the range of shades in this palette, it has matte neutral shades but also some shimmery shades too. This palette would be perfect for spring as it has a lot of pink/rose shades. There is a quite dark shimmery shade called ‘Blackheart‘ but I tend to use it in the crease to smoke out my eye. All the shades are very pigmented, far more than the zoeva shades. They blend so easily and I often reach for this daily when I want a neutral eye look with a light colour on the lid that blends into a slightly darker/brown shade in the crease but keeping it subtle and not too bold. I am so glad I chose this as my first naked palette although I hope to soon own the rest! I definitely recommend this and it was a great investment! Unlike the Zoeva palette this one also has a mirror inside it which is super handy!

And my all time favourite eye shadow palette is the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette! In all honesty I only purchased this palette because it had just been released and I wanted to try something different that I wouldn’t normally do and I could also review it on my blog, for quite an expensive palette this was a risk worth taking and I ended up falling completely in love with the palette! The packaging is so simple yet so pretty and retro I love it! There is a huge range of colours from a light shimmery white to matte black! There are many neutral shades but also a shimmery champagne, pink, electric blue and gold shades if you are going for a more bold look! I love this as rather than having a neutral shades palette and a more colourful shade palette it is all in one which makes it easier to just pack this if you are going away on holiday and need that variety! The shades are some of the most easy to blend shades I have ever come across and the pigmentation is surreal! If I want to go for something a bit more ‘out there’ and pigmented in my daily routine then I will reach for this palette over the Naked 3 using the lightest shade ‘baby‘ on my lid and blending a fairly darker brown/maroon shade into the crease and outer corner called ‘serious‘. This palette is limited edition so I suggest you grab one as soon as you get the chance! I can assure you that you will love it! I can’t explain how much I love this palette but if you want to here more about what I think of it then click here to read my review!

So that is my top 3 eye shadow palettes in reverse order! I definitely recommend all of these palettes, They have pigmentation that one could only dream of and you can create so many gorgeous looks!

What is your favourite eye shadow palette?

February Favourites 2016!!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Hey guys!

I doubt anyone has noticed but I am usually one to get my favourites up before the end of the month however I have been so held up with college work, deadlines, falling behind and just the general stress of being an A level student but nonetheless I have worked super hard to get to a point where I can fit in some blogging without falling behind! I have gathered together everything I have been loving during the February month and I will be sharing these with you guys!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

First of all is Benefit’s Porefessional Primer. I recently won an Instagram giveaway and one of the prizes I received was a small tube of this heavenly product, I cannot believe it took winning a giveaway for me to try out this product! I will most definitely be purchasing the full sized version. It has a lovely smell to it and does not dry out my skin which is a plus for someone with dry skin. It keeps my makeup in place all day and works wonderfully as a primer, I have been absolutely loving it the past month and it has entered my daily makeup routine of March!

Next is the Makeup Revolution F105 brush. This is an angled brush which is perfect for bronzing your cheeks precisely and on the right angle. I have been using this all month to apply my bronzer and all in all it is a wonderful brush! Considering how affordable this brush is the quality is extraordinary! The bristles do not fall out as I would have expected them to eventually do so and it is a super easy brush to clean. It picks up the right amount of product and applies it very nicely to the contours of my face. It is by far the best brush I have used for bronzing so far! I have the rose gold trim brush which I received in a set but if you order the brush alone it is just plain black.

img_4774

In my January favourites I mentioned how I was loving the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette which I purchased in early January. I have now had a lot more time to use various shades and during February I have been specifically loving the shades ‘baby‘ and ‘punk‘. ‘Baby‘ is a white shade with a small amount of shimmer in it which I apply all over the lid and then I apply ‘punk‘ in my crease and outer corner, blending it out with a fluffy blending brush. ‘Punk‘ is a dark maroon type shade therefore it does not make this eye look a super smokey one. Once these shades are blended well they create a neutral eye look  going from a not too shimmery white to a dark brown/maroon crease that I believe is perfect for everyday wear. I have been using this combination of eye shadows almost everyday of March, well the days I didn’t oversleep! I have received many compliments and feel this is currently my go to eye look!

Another product I received in the giveaway which I won was the Nyx Butter Lip Gloss in the shade BLG15 Angel Food Cake. After avoiding using lip products for so long due to how difficult my lips are when applying product to them because they are quite dry, I have finally found something that works! This is a lovely nude, neutral shade and has a lovely consistency. It is so easy to apply with a simple doe foot applicator and my favourite part is how hydrating it is on my lips! I love using this with the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipstick in the shade Ex-Girlfriend, I only have the sample version of this which came with the eye shadow palette but I am hoping to purchase the full sized version soon!

My final beauty favourite of February is the Seventeen Semi Permanent Tattoo Liner. This liner is amazing and most certainly lives up to its’ name! It is super matte and pigmented which is necessary if you want a super bold wing. It does have its cons such as if you get it in your lashes whilst applying it then applying mascara maybe slightly more difficult due to how quick this liner dries but apart from that I do not have a bad word to say about it! It lasts all day long and the best part is if I accidentally gently rub the corner of my eye whilst forgetting I am wearing makeup it won’t budge! Yes ladies I know you have all experienced the dreadful moment of panic and seeking reassurance from friends that you have not smudged your eyeliner but I do not have this issue when using this liner. The applicator is a small thin brush which is amazing at pulling out a perfect wing. It is a must have eyeliner and such high quality considering how low priced it is!

My next favourite is one I purchased for my new bedroom as I am moving house very soon however I couldn’t help but already use it! It is this lovely acrylic makeup storage I recently purchased. I have been looking for some acrylic storage to store some of my makeup in for a while now but from looking online acrylic storage is quite high priced but I got this beauty for just 4.99! You can see all the different compartments in the pictures and there is room for 6 lipsticks, I only have 1 MAC lipstick at the moment but I am hoping to have all 6 compartments as a home for another MAC lipstick so if you have any recommendations of non matte shades then let me know in the comments!

I have also been loving the MyNy  DKNY perfume which I recieved as a birthday present for my last birthday. It has such a lovely scent, not too sweet but not too strong. It is one of my favourite perfumes and I have been using it almost everyday through February. The smell lasts a while and I also love the packaging, the bottle has such a cute shape to it!

Now this is where it gets a bit soppy, I’m a soppy person but I wanted to include this in my favourites this month and it has to be friends. After having a lot of friendship issues a few months ago I was on my own for quite a while but recently I managed to pull myself together, stop being so socially awkward and speak to some people who seemed so lovely and I knew would be amazing friends. These 2 people will know who they are but I am honestly so glad I stopped being so socially awkward because now I feel less alone and now college is actually bearable again! We all share a makeup addiction which is great because we can always get recommendations of each other and we are all YouTube obsessed and actually have quite a lot in common so yeah, these friends have definitely been a favourite of mine this month so thank you for being so fabulous! Also one of them has recently began blogging so click here to check her blog out!

And last but not least is my music favourite! As you may or may not now I do have a fan girl side to me and I am a huge Lovatic! In February Demi Lovato aka my idol released a music video for her latest single, Stone Cold. I absolutely love this song and was definitely not disappointed with the video! The lyrics are so deep and meaningful which is one thing I love about Demi, She is not afraid to put true emotions out there like which takes a lot of courage. Overall I love the song and have been listening to it a lot since it was released on her latest album and even more since the music video came out so it is undoubtedly my music favourite for February!

My February favourites are complete and even though I did not get them up as early as I wanted to we are not entirely too far into March anyway! I hope you enjoyed this insight into what I have been loving during February and still am!

Also I would like to say thank you to all of my lovely readers and followers from all of my social media platforms as I have recently hit an overall following of 3k which is insane! I am very grateful so thank you everybody!

I will post again soon lovelies!

January Favourites 2016

The end of the first month of 2016 is here and my has it flew by. I always mention how time has flown by so fast when it comes to doing my monthly favourites but I am pretty certain it was just the other day I was feeling super festive towards the approach to Christmas! I feel this is going to be quite a long favourites post, I like to keep them short but I have tried various new products so far this year and I did not even realize how many until I gathered together everything I have been loving this month!

My first favourite for this month has to be the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette! Just last November, Urban Decay teamed up with the wonderful Gwen Stefani to create this all time must have eye shadow palette! I purchased it at the start of the month and I have been absolutely loving it since! The shades are super pigmented and blend so easily, there are a variety of neutral shades as well as some ‘out there’ colours when you fancy something more vibrant but not too vibrant. You can find out more about why I love this eye shadow palette by clicking here!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

My next favourite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I purchased this within the last 2 weeks of January and it has now become part of my everyday routine! I cannot believe how long I took to purchase this. I have never been a fan of drugstore mascaras as they were always pretty much the same thing in my opinion, I never had found any that really worked well for me, I was always ending up with clumped lashes that were not even very long however as my roller lash supply was coming to an end and so was my bank account balance I decided to head back to drugstore mascaras and try this out and see what the whole hype was about and I am so glad I did! The applicator has an amazing shape which really separates my eye lashes whilst making them super long. I feel like I have eye lashes again! If you, like me, are reluctant to jump onto the bandwagon I urge you, hop aboard now! You will not regret it!

Another favourite from Maybelline is their Master Sculpt Contour Palette. You can read my more detailed review by clicking here but in short it has a super pigmented bronzer but it blends so easily so it is not too intense and the highlighter is beautiful! I do wish there was more highlighter in the palette as only a small section it is highlighter! I definitely recommend this if you want a good quality but affordable contour palette!

Collections’ Translucent Face Powder is what I have been using every single day of this month to set my foundation! It is so cheap and I have already hit pan in a small section of it so I will need to make a re-purchase soon! I ran out of powder towards then end of 2015 and needed something cheap I could pick up quickly to get me through the first week back at college and once payday came I would pick up something a little higher in price but that never happened as I actually enjoyed using this powder a lot more than I expected to! It is not the best powder ever but it does the job, sets my makeup so well and it smells nice too! I love the powder and will definitely be re-purchasing it!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

For Christmas one of the presents I received from my best friend were these beautiful earrings from H.Samuel I have worn them everyday since I got them and only ever take them out when I am getting in the shower or before going to bed in case they fall out whilst I am sleeping, I doubt they would as I have slept with earrings in before but I love these so much so I do not want to risk it. I cannot get over how gorgeous these earrings are I just love them so much!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

This Pure Blush Perfume from New Look smells absolutely gorgeous! I have worn it almost everyday this month and it is one of the perfumes I reach for the most out of the few I use! This is another present I received from my best friend for Christmas and she will probably be reading this so thank you so much for that! I absolutely love it, it smells amazing!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Frosted Plum Bath Fizzers are a must have if you are a bath lover like me! I have always stuck to using Lush Products for baths but when I received these as a Christmas present I could not stop smelling them as they smell so lovely! As soon as I got the chance I ran myself a bath and tried them out! I thought I would need more than one but a little goes a long way as one was all I needed! It dissolves in the bath making the bath smell absolutely gorgeous which leaves my skin feeling super soft and smelling super good! I am so glad I received these as a gift as I would never have thought to try them out myself and now that I have had the chance to try them out I will definitely be re-purchasing them! I will be doing a review on these soon and the matching scented body butter so keep an eye out for that!

img_5429

An app has made it into my favourites this month and that has to be Instagram! I have really up’d my Instagram this month and it has shown well through the increase in my following! I have stuck to a specific theme and ventured into the land of flatlays! I get up early on a Saturday morning, well I say early but it is usually just before mid day, in order to get the best daylight possible for my flatlays, I am super happy with my current theme although I do not want it to get repetitive as I do not have the biggest of makeup collections but I do plan to grow that which works in favour of my Instagram! Click here and give me a follow if you like a good flatlay makeup theme!

Last but not least is my final favourite which is a music favourite! Last year I listened to Twenty One Pilots a few times but I have listened to them so much more in the past month! I absolutely love their music and my current favourite by them has to be Stressed Out! I definitely recommend you check them out they make some great music!

That is my first favourites post of this month complete! It is also my first January favourites as I began blogging at the end of January last year so my first favourites were my February favourites so I just want to say thank you so much for everyone that has been reading my content, following me and leaving me lovely feedback over the past year! I don’t want to get too into the whole bloggiversary yet as I am leaving that for another post which should be coming tomorrow! So keep an eye out for it and bring a box of tissues!

Let me know in the comments one of your favourite things of January whether it was a product, an item of clothing, song or even a favourite moment!

Until next time my lovelies!

Welcoming the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette!!

Hey guys!! So if you follow me on social media such as my twitter or Instagram you will know I have ended up with not one but 2 Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eye shadow palettes! How? I hear you ask, well… Around Christmas time I entered a giveaway to win the palette but I have entered many giveaways before and never won anything so I did not think I had much of a chance of winning, I went ahead and ordered my own palette as a treat when it came to pay day! The day on which my eye shadow palette arrived I received an email to say I had won the giveaway! I was super excited, I had to decided whether to return the palette I had ordered, get the money back and spend it on more makeup or to keep both and own 2 of the palettes but instead I have decided to gift one to my best friend! It is also her birthday next month and I am hoping to get her the Naked Smokey palette so she will own 2 Urban Decay palettes thanks to me and I am actually very excited about that!

This eye shadow palette was created from a collaboration between the singer Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay! It contains 15 gorgeous shades with a variety of many neutral shades but also some pretty jewel tones! The palette also comes with samples of 4 soon to come lipsticks that are soon to be released this year as part of the Gwen Stefani collection! I have yet to try these but included is a gorgeous nude shade ‘Ex-Girlfriend‘, a dark purple ‘Rocksteady‘, a gorgeous red ‘714‘ and a plum purple ‘Firebird‘ I am very excited to try these shades they look amazing! The palette has a magnetic seal to keep the palette closed unlike the click close such as on the Naked 3 eye shadow palette. I find this quite convenient as with the Naked 3 palette sometimes I do not seal it properly without noticing whereas with this palette it well definitely seal shut when you close it. I also love the retro style look on the lid, it is such a pretty palette which works in favour for my Instagram feed!

Moving onto the most exciting part, the eye shadows! The pigmentation firstly is absolutely amazing! Using the few that I have so far they lasted all day and didn’t begin to fade even when I had not wore eye shadow primer! The shade ‘black out’ which is the black shade is amazing to blend into the crease when you want a shadowy crease or if you want your eye shadow to fade darker into the crease which is something I love to do, I have actually done it today! I have used pop all over my lid then blended punk into the crease and corner with a small amount of blackout and I really like how it turned out! My other favourite shades so far have to be ‘baby‘ a glittery, light brown/nude shade and ‘Anaheim‘ which is more of a matte brown. Neutrals are my favourite and most used eye shadow shades but I still love the occasional pop of colour every now and then which is what makes this palette perfect for me or anyone who is like me! There is a huge variety of neutral shades both matte and with a hint of glitter but there is also a more rosy pink shade, a dark blue shade and a gold shade which are perfect for when you want to add a bit of colour and they are more likely to be used than if there was a red or green shade. The selection of shades in this palette is so ideal I know I will use every shade! They blend super easily and you can create a large variety of different looks! The palette also has a mirror inside the lid which has “MAGIC’S IN THE MAKEUP” written in the bottom corner which is too accurate!

I have swatched each shade as you can see below but bear in mind I have photographed these on an iPhone 4S which does not give them enough justice! They are far more pigmented than they look in these images!

img_4916

Overall I absolutely love this eye shadow palette, If you are like me and hesitate a lot due to the price as it is £40 then if you have never made a purchase from feel unique you can order it from there for £34 rather than £40 as you get 15% off your first order and free delivery! It still is a lot for an eye shadow palette but I can ensure you it is of amazing quality and definitely worth the price, this is definitely a current favourite product of mine so hesitate no more and get ordering!

Hope you enjoyed this insight/review on this must have eye shadow palette! If you would like me to do a tutorial using some of the shades then let me know in the comments, on Instagram or tweet me!

Thanks for reading!

November Favourites!!

IMG_3409-1

Okay… I have probably said this in my favourites for the past few months but wow, where has this year gone?! I only started my blog in February and it feels like that was a long time ago but the year itself has flew by. I remember stressing about GCSE’s and my AS level mocks are already approaching me! Wondering about how I will get into a career in beauty whilst doing A levels and I’ve now enrolled onto a course to start in January! It’s crazy how much changes, some good, some bad but all for the best (the lame old excuse I use when I can’t accept change) but nonetheless it’s time for another favourites post, I have been so busy prepping for blogmas I was surprised I even noticed what I have been loving this month but I know exactly what to include in this post! Most of it is from the past week as it is stuff I received for my birthday but they’re still definite favourites for this month!

So moving on to my first beauty favourite it has to be the Makeup Revolution 144 Eye shadow Palette 2016 collection! This beautiful palette contains all the shades anybody could need for a day or night out! any event or special occasions you will find your perfect shades in this palette! My best friend gifted me this for my birthday and I was literally speechless when I saw it in the gift bag! I remember gawping at it in superdrug and now I own it! I have used it a few times but just for the neutral shades they blend so well and are quite pigmented so all in all it is a fantastic palette!

My next beauty favourite is Rimmel London’s Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, I’ve always struggled to find an eye pencil that I really liked to tight line and water line with but this one does the job perfectly! It goes straight on without me needing to go across the waterline constantly. It doesn’t last all day if I’m being honest but it does the job for a couple of hours so it can easily just be re-applied but it’s worth it for the bargain price of £2.99!

I have only had 2 beauty favourites this month but there are also a couple lifestyle favourites!

First of all is the Yankee Christmas Treats Candle which I mentioned in my warm me up for winter tag, This was another present I received for my birthday from another good friend of mine. It has such a lovely, cosy and christmassy scent! It’s quite sweet so if you smell it for too long it can become sickly but lighting it in my room or around a bath for a while gives of such a lovely scent I absolutely love it! Definitely a favourite of November!

My next favourite is something I have been loving the whole way throughout November and that is my portable charger! I came across the Anker Portable Charger in one of Eve Bennett’s favourite videos so I purchased it before going away with NCS a few months ago and it’s been such an efficient item ever since! It is always in my handbag and as I’m at college from 9-4pm it comes in very handy, I only have to charge it back up every 3 days, I definitely recommend it for anyone needing a reliable portable charger as I was never really keen on the cheap ones from primark/pound land etc but this one is definitely worth the buy!

And as usual I occasionally include a TV favourite and this month it has to be scream queens! It’s recently just begun in the past few months and now airs in the UK! It’s like a cross between final destination and mean girls! Very gruesome but very good! I don’t want to give away any spoilers but it’s a must watch if you enjoy TV shows such as pretty little liars, gossip girl or the walking dead!

I know there isn’t really many new and exciting things to show you guys this month but I begin blogmas in 3 days and I shall hopefully be uploading a post every single day up until Christmas and they will all be super exciting so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Let me know in the comments one thing you have been loving this month!

I’ll post again soon lovelies!

July Favourites!!

IMG_3785

Wow… it felt really weird typing the title for this post, we’re in July already?! where has this year gone!!

I have decided to get my July favourites up a little earlier this month than I usually would do as on the 27th of July I will be taking part in the NCS Challenge and I am so excited for this opportunity! It is over 4 weeks and there are 2 sets of 5 days that I will be away from home so my blogging won’t be very consistent which I apologize for but I will do my best to upload!

My first favourite has to be my Magnitone Lucid! I was gifted this by the lovely company and have reviewed it in a previous blog post. I use it in my skincare routines everyday now and it works wonders! The 20% discount code is still valid if you would like to use it and can be found in this blog post.

My next favourite is Batiste Dry Shampoo! I’m pretty sure I have included this an a previous favourites but I am still in love! I have a sea of empty bottles all over my bedroom floor! I always re-purchase when I run it, it is amazing to minimize/remove oils from your hair when there’s a little too much and your’re rushing around or unexpectedly have somewhere to be! it’s super affordable, the packaging is so pretty and I LOVE IT!!

I have absolutely loved Revlons Photoready Airbrush Effect Foundation, This isn’t a foundation I would wear on a daily basis as it provides a hell lot of coverage! But I did have my prom at the start of this month and I wore it then. It gives amazing coverage, it contains small amounts of glitter to keep you dazzling! It makes my skin look super smooth and I still have 3 big events towards the end of this month and I will definitely be using it then!

The buffing concealer brush for the Ecotools Fresh and Flawless 5 piece complexion set is definitely in my July favourites!! I have been wearing eye shadow a lot more this month,  a smokey eye for a night out or a simple nude/pink summery look for everyday! Now this brush is supposed to be to buff out concealer but I prefer to use it when blending eye shadows. It is so soft and gentle when blending in the crease and I love how I have found a use for the brush because I didn’t use it until I began different eye shadow looks! So out of all my beauty products this brush is one that has stood out to me this month!

Moving onto fashion… I don’t really have a fashion favourite this month but I was so in love with my prom outfit! You can see this here! I’d like to thank Quiz because I got such perfectly matching outfit pieces from there and the staff were lovely and so helpful as I was getting everything last minute! I couldn’t have wished for a better outfit picking experience and the outfit itself was gorgeous! and again, just like the foundation I will be re-wearing this for 2 of the 3 events I have to attend!

My music favourites for this month have to be….

Demi Lovato – Cool For The Summer and Hobbie Stuart – Fall Down!

I love these 2 songs and especially cool for the summer because as you know, if you know me well, Demi Lovato is my idol and she released another amazing song! It is so catchy and really gets me in the summer mood!

For fall down, I love this because 1. I adore Hobbie! and 2. I just love the beat to it and the lyrics are amazing and he has such great vocals!

And last but not least….

My TV favourite!!

download (1)

I finished watching 90210 at the beginning of this month and I absolutely loved that show! I am gutted there are no more episodes but now I have began watching Once Upon A Time and I am obsessed! It’s definitely my kinda show, all the fantasy story lines and the way it contrasts with the modern world, so many mysterious and so much tensions and suspense I definitely recommend you begin watching it if you haven’t already!

So there are my July Favourites complete!! Let me know in the comments 3 things you have been loving this month!

I’ll post again soon lovelies!

Summer Wishlist!I

summer wishlist

Hey guys! I haven’t done a wishlist in a while! So here are the things I currently want for summer but can’t afford yet so I decided to share them with my lovely blog readers!

First of all is the Jersey Dress With A Collar this is £14.99 from H&M! I adore this dress it is so cute! I recently tried it on at the store but didn’t purchase it as it had foundation stains on the collar and they are all out of stock when I looked online 😦 so I have to keep checking out their website to see when they get it in stock because I will definitely be getting it!

I really really really want the Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye Shadow Palette! It has gorgeous everyday nude shades in it and unlike the other naked palettes I know I will use all these shades! It is currently £19.16 at Debenhams which is so much less than it used to be! So hopefully I will purchase this soon!

How gorgeous is Real Techniques bold metals collection?!?! I would get every brush if I could! but unfortunately they aren’t cheap! and it is rose gold! who doesn’t love rose gold?!?! although I don’t wear blusher often I really want the Tapered Blush Brush as I think I will use it for other things such as precisely getting bronzing powder where I want it when contouring! It is £24.00 though! That is more than the naked basics! If I had a regular job I would own these! but I don’t so for now they can stay on my wishlist haha!

I have wanted these for so long now! The Frends Layla Headphones In Rose Gold these are £140 from Urban Outfitters which I think is worth it! Just like the brush they are are rose gold!!!! However I can’t currently afford them but hopefully I will be able to soon or I will get them for my birthday in a few months!

The Urban Outfitter’s Geo Sipper Cup is super cute! It’s basically a mason jar without the handle! I love the effect on the glass and the colour! I really want one of these for when I start college! It £12 as well which is worth it! Hopefully I will pick one up during my college shopping spree!

Let me know in the comments one thing you guys really want at the moment! I’ll post again lovelies!

Thinking Of Purchasing Thursday!

Hey guys! So in this post i’m going to talk about the top 3 productsI’ve been considering purchasing!
Untitled (Recovered)1. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, I have tried so many different mascaras and i still haven’t found the right one for me 😦 My eyelashes are straight and small so no matter how much mascara I apply they are either the same or clumped up there’s no in between! I have seen many good reviews on this mascara and the brush looks similar to a really good Loreal one i used i while ago which unfortunately got discontinued so I would really love to buy this mascara! It is £19.50 from boots which is pricey for me to be spending on a mascara but hopefully I might get this soon!

as2. Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye shadow Palette, I know this has been out for a while and a lot of people have it but being 16 and having a job that’s part time doesn’t pay much so i can’t really afford to splurge on high street products before, during or after the hype of them. I’d love this palette with it’s natural shades that i could blend together in my everyday look! I would just love to have this!

qaws3. Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen Carbon Black Extreme, If you guys saw my makeup monday post you’ll know i absolutely love eyeliner! I’m still on an adventure for my holy grail eyeliner and i haven’t hand any really good experiences with one’s I’ve used in the past 3 months. I did use a felt pen one like this before but it dried up really quick so i never re-purchased it. I saw a really good review on this from a great blogger the other day which you can find here, which assured me this eyeliner will last long. I will definitely purchase this next time i am shopping, it’s only £6.00 so i think i will give it a go!

Hope you guys enjoyed this insight into some products I’d really like to purchase!
