June Favourites & Taking a break…

Hey guys!

It’s time again to show you guys what I have been loving in the month of June! I hope you have all had a great year so far and are ready for Summer! Make the most of it, make lots of plans and go on new adventures with friends as I plan to do just that! Retail therapy, spa days out and trips to the beach who better to do them with than your friends? I wish you all the best summer ever, let me know in the comments what your plans are. Now to stop myself from rambling and get on with my favourites!

Firstly is one you will be familiar with if you have checked out my blog recently. The Shaaanxo 18 Color Eye shadow and Lipstick Palette. I won’t go too much into this palette as you can find out why I love it so much in this blog post where I reviewed it. I use it almost every day, the shades in it are gorgeous especially the burnt red colour!

Next is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This was recommended to me by my amazing friend beautybase101, I wanted to try out a new concealer after going through several lots of collection lasting perfects and trying the maybelline age rewind concealer I wanted to try something new so she advised that I picked this up and I am so glad I did! It is definitely under rated, It has a nice creamy consistency and provides great coverage, it is amazing for concealing dark under eyes and imperfections, I highly recommend this!

In last months favourites I mentioned a Kiko Eyeshadow and I have another one I want to share with you guys this month except this one doubles up as a highlighter! This is the Kiko Water Eyeshadow in the shade 208. The fact that it’s a water eyeshadow means you can apply Kiko’s Mixing Solution or Water to an applicator and it intensifies the pigmentation like nothing I have ever seen before! Even without this it still has wonderful pigmentation and I love using it to highlight the top of my cheekbones or the inner corner of my eyes! It is definitely worth investing in!

MAC Velvet Teddy is something I have had a love/hate relationship with for a while. I previously mentioned it when I introduced it with the MAC Lip Conditioner as I always found it too drying on my lips. Recently I have not been using it with the lip conditioner and it has not been as drying as it previously was which may have been because I began using it in winter and it is a matte lipstick. It is a beautiful nude shade and I am currently at an in love stage with it! Lets’ just hope this lasts!

A while ago I mentioned the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in a post comparing it to another Maybelline mascara. I did show a preference towards the Lash Sensational Mascara and been loving it more everyday since! It lifts my lashes like nothing ever has before and I am sure I have previously said I would say it is a dupe for the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara which was a very well known and loved shade in the makeup world and still is so to say this is a dupe for that shows how exceptional this mascara is and I definitely urge you to try it if you haven’t already!

So there you go! All of my favourites from the last month, short but sweet! I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have been loving as I love seeing what other people have been loving enough all month to include them in a favourites post or video and I always find great recommendations from them too so I would love it if you guys let me know in the comments one product you have been loving all month!

Now before I end this post I just want to say that in the past few months I have been feeling quite uninspired and I feel like I have had to force myself to blog whereas it used to come naturally to me and I really enjoyed it so after months of contemplating I have decided to take some advice that I’ve heard has worked for many bloggers in this situation before. I am going to take a break from blogging, I won’t be blogging until August, maybe slightly earlier if I feel like it but I don’t want to have to force myself to create content, I want to enjoy it like I used to. I will still be active on Instagram and Twitter so follow me on there for updates!

Until next time!

May Favourites!!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

My favourites for May are here and I cannot believe we are half way through the year already! Throughout the past few months I have purchased many new products which I have not yet blogged about but I feel I have used these products long enough now and I want to share them with you guys so there will be a lot of reviews coming up but the few products that have stood out to me in the past month are here in my May favourites!

Firstly is the Nyx Highlight & Contour Pro Palette. I have had my eyes on this for so long and in April I finally managed to get it and I was not one bit disappointed! There are a variety of shades suitable for every skin tone which is why I think this palette would work wonderfully in a Makeup artists kit! They are very easy to blend and extremely pigmented. The highlight in the palette is absolutely beautiful and there is a more yellow toned powder which I assume is similar to banana powders and it is amazing for setting under eye concealer and also brightening the area. I highly recommend this palette, the best part is that the individual shades are easy to remove from the palette as they are in removable pans and Nyx sell the shades individually so when you hit pan on a shade you don’t have to buy a entire new palette as you can just replace the individual shade!

Every makeup addict loves a good route in Tx Maxx for good quality makeup at bargain prices and this is how I came across the Cargo Bronzer. This retails at £20 and I got my hands on it for just £3.99! At first I liked the product but was hesitant to purchase it but when I discovered the usual price I had to pick it up and I have been loving it ever since as it’s not too heavy so It works wonderfully to just subtly bronze over my contour!

Last on the band wagon, as per… The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter Shadow Shimmer… Oh my gosh… This highlight slays my whole existence, the glow gives me life and the pigmentation just kills me every time! This is most definitely worth the hype and if you do not already have this I highly recommend you pop it onto your shopping list, no girls makeup collection is complete without this highlight!

At the end of last year a Kiko Milano Cosmetics store came to the Trafford Centre and I have visited it so many times, unfortunately every single time I went to the Kiko store I was broke but recently I managed to try one of their products and it is this gorgeous highly pigmented deep red shade in 137 Pearly Copper, it looks gorgeous in the crease with a light colour on the lid or if I was going out I would put it all over the lid and a black in the crease to create a gorgeous burgundy smokey eye! It is a beautiful shade, very affordable and super pigmented, I really want to try out some more of their eye shadows after the amazing quality of this one!

Superdrug had an offer on for 2 Victoria Secret body sprays for £12! My sister got one and I purchased this one in the scent Pure Daydream. I have wanted a VS spray for so long and for this bargain price I couldn’t say no! It smells similar to the Crescent Bay scent from Hollister. I use this everyday now and keep it in my bag, I absolutely love it!

My next favourite is the Primark Sasha False Nails! It has been so long since I have worn falsies but I went to primark with the intention of finding a gorgeous pair as I am very motivated to stop my awful nail biting habit and I thought perhaps wearing falsies for a week may start me off plus they look super cute! These nails were amazing for the price, I did have to cut them down as they were to long for my liking, you can see pictures of me wearing them on my Instagram here. They stuck so well and didn’t budge apart from the odd time one or two pinged off from force but besides that I would definitely purchase primark nails again they have such a wide variety of choices!

With the gorgeous weather we are currently receiving I decided to purchase some sunglasses. I had my heart set on a rose gold pair but I couldn’t find the ones I wanted when looking for the rose gold ones so I purchased the ones in the above image instead. I love them, they fit me so well and I love the style of them, I have been wearing them pretty much every sunny day of the past month!

Last but most certainly not least is this white and gold kabuki brush that has a dense tapered style bristle end that is great for applying product to the under eye area. I usually use it to apply the yellow toned powder from the Nyx Contour Palette to set my under eye concealer but I know the brush would also be great for applying under eye concealer because of how dense the brush is. The bristles are still very soft and for the price it has amazing quality! I purchased these of Depop, an app set out like Instagram but works like eBay, I get so many good bargains on there so I definitely recommend the app if you do not have it, I got a set of these white and gold brushes including face and eye brushes for just £5!

I cannot stress enough how much I love all of these products and I highly recommend them! Let me know in the comments one product you have loved throughout May that you recommend and maybe I will try it out!

I’ll post again soon my lovelies!

April Favourites 2016!!

Hey guys! I am back with an extremely overdue blog post but I have been doing my AS Exams so I am sure I can be forgive but at last my exams are over! I do have an English exam in 2 weeks but it’s nothing I am too worried about and at least I can get back into consistently blogging! Today I want to talk about many things I loved throughout April as I have tried a few new products! I hope you have all had a lovely month, good luck to anyone doing their exams, try not to stress out all you can do is try your best and if you are blogging or making YouTube content at the same time as studying then shoutout to you for being so consistent, I wish I could do that!

So for my first favourite I have the Sanctuary Spa Foaming Micellar Water. Sanctuary were kind enough to send me this in March and I thought nothing could ever compare to my Garnier Micellar Water but this is just as good! The product comes out through a pump in a foam like substance and a little goes along way, as soon as it goes onto where my makeup has been applied it instantly melts on my face and I use a cotton pad to gently remove my makeup. It removes it so well I don’t need to scrub at it, it just wipes away very nicely! The only bad thing I have to say about this is I have to be cautious when removing eye makeup with it as if I use too much and it stays around my eyes or gets in my eyes it really stings and is uncomfortable for a while which happens rarely but besides that I love it especially the fact it is foam like and lasts longer than Garniers’ micellar water!

My next 2 favourites go hand in hand, MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick and MAC Lip Conditioner. I purchased velvet teddy last year after seeing the huge hype around it and falling in love with the shade after swatching it however as it was the first MAC lipstick I purchased I did not realise how matte it was and as I have dry skin and dry lips it never really worked for me and I was very disappointed but before reviewing it on my blog I decided to return to MAC and seek some advice on how I could make velvet teddy work for me because I can’t be the only person who has had this problem right? A lovely MAC makeup artist recommended the lip conditioner for me which was only £12 so I picked it up and it completely changed my life! I can now use velvet teddy without it feeling drying on my lips and not going on smoothly as long as I apply the lip conditioner first. I am planning to review both products soon so look out for that post for more details!

Another product I picked up in March is something that I would never have thought I would splurge on but my makeup addiction gets more extreme by the day and it is limited edition… I majorly splurged on the Benefit Cheekathon Palette. This gorgeous palette contains 5 full sized pans of benefits cheek products, Rockateur, Dallas, Hoola, Coralista and Dandelion. They are all absolutely amazing and all through April I used it almost everyday! Hoola is such a gorgeous bronzer and rocketuer is a beautiful highlighting blush! I will also be reviewing this palette in more detail soon so keep an eye out for that! The palette is just £44.50 as apposed to paying £23.50 if you were to buy each product on its’ own so get I highly recommend you get your hands on benefits cheekathon palette before it sells out!

When purchasing the cheekathon palette I recieved an adorable makeup bag for free which was comforting for my shame of splurging as it is £15 to purchase on its own! I have been in search for a new makeup bag for a while and for me this was perfect as unlike traditional makeup bags that involve a lot of rooting through to find what you want as the zip only unzips the top side of the bag this makeup bag unzips all the way around which is so much easier as I can see everything inside it and it does not take me forever to find what I need! Also I really love the graphology on the front of the makeup bag!

Last but not least, a non beauty product, my portable charger makes a re-appearance in my April favourites, I mentioned this a few months back but I had to mention it again! This portable charger is my oxygen, I never have tor ration my phone battery as this comes with me wherever I go and it is so efficient it is the perfect size to just pop in my bag, I highly recommend this portable charger for anyone that is looking for a portable charger worth paying for rather than the cheap poundland/primark ones that break after a few weeks, this one has lasted me at least 10 months now and there is no sign of wear at all. I only have to charge it up after 3 days depending on how much I use it and it comes with me every single day to college. I can’t rave about this enough but I had to include it in my April favourites in case anyone missed it in my last post and honestly I absolutely love it! If you do decide to purchase don’t be put off by the fact it does not come with a lead, it has a USB port where you can insert your own lead and I just get a multi purpose lead from poundland and it works just fine!

My April favourites are complete and finally uploaded! Not a lot of products but I wanted to keep it real with you guys and include what I have been loving not just include things for the sake of it! Hope you guys enjoyed reading this and are ready for some more posts soon as I am back in action!

Good luck to anyone still doing exams and well done to anyone that has done them as I know how stressful it can be!

I will post again soon my lovelies ( and I mean it this time!)

March Favourites 2016!!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Hey guys!!

Ugh, I am getting so behind with blogging, my notebook is full of ideas but exam season is just round the corner… Nonetheless I have finally got round to getting my March favourites up, it is slightly late like my February favourites but better late than never! All of my favourites for this month are beauty products so without further ado lets get straight into it!

First of all is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation! There has been a huge hype around this foundation in the blogging community, I know that it is most certainly a favourite of Zoella’s! (Zoe Sugg). I came across a voucher on Estee Lauders’ website which allowed me to get a 10 day sample so when I  next came across one of their makeup counters I got myself matched and was given a sample of foundation! I have used it a few times now and at first was unsure of how it was supposed to last me 10 days but a little goes a long way! It does not have a very creamy consistency like the foundation I usually use, Rimmel London Lasting Finish, but I think this is a plus as it doesn’t feel very heavy on the face yet has such good coverage and does not go patchy in certain areas throughout the day! At first I thought it looked no different to the regular drugstore foundation I use but throughout the day and various times of using it I noticed such a huge difference in how long it lasts and how fresh it stays looking, I absolutely love the coverage and how weightless it is, I am even considering purchasing the full size product! This has definitely been one of my favourites of March even if I did only try it in the last week or 2 of the month!

Moving on to another hyped product. Nivea Mens Post Shave Balm! I am pretty sure most of you reading this may be aware that this has been known as an extremely good primer in the beauty world! I have been trialing this for around a month now and I can certainly say that I agree! It makes my makeup last so much longer and keeps it looking as fresh as it was when I first applied it, especially with the double wear foundation! I am hoping to do an in depth review on this soon so I won’t go into too much detail now but I can’t express enough how much you need to try this as a primer if you haven’t already!

If you read my recent Haul Post you will know that I finally got myself another Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge! This is my holy grail of makeup applicators. It is so soft and covers a lot of area because once you soak it under water it expands! I can apply my foundation so much quicker with this as apposed to using a foundation brush which works in my favour when I am running late for college or work! The pointed edge is also great for getting in smaller areas like around your nose or under your eyes. If I could only use one makeup applicator for the rest of my life it would definitely be this!

I am just beginning to realise this haul is basically all base products! Next is the Collection Translucent Loose Powder. I wanted to try baking but with a cheaper loose powder to start with and considering this was only £2.99 it worked amazingly! It is super brightening if you use it to bake your under eyes but also works well to set your whole face of makeup although it does get everywhere if you use it to set your whole face as it is a loose powder but I would still definitely recommend it if you are looking at trying baking but are not sure where to start!

I recently purchased the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer. In my honest opinion, it is not a very good concealer, I just don’t think its creamy enough to give enough coverage under the eye. However, It works beautifully as a highlight! I have been using it as a brow bone highlighter and it is super brightening, it could also be used to brighten the under eye area once you have concealed it with a different concealer. I am very happy with this product as I thought I would be let down by L’Oreal again as I had no luck with a product of theirs I purchased before this but that is a story for another day! I love this concealer and the packaging is probably the only reason I bought it, what can I say ey, I am a sucker for anything rose gold!

And my final 2 favourites are eye shadow brushes! There is the Makeup Revolution E103 brush which is the fluffy head one and the No7 Eye Colour brush which is the flat head one in the picture above. I have been wearing eye shadow almost everyday for the last few months and these are my holy grail of eye shadow applicators! The Makeup revolution brush works like a dream when it comes to blending eye shadow and the No7 brush is amazing at applying eye shadow to the whole lid giving a nice and even coverage! it picks up a lot of product and applies it very precisely. These 2 brushes are my dream team!

So that is my March favourites complete! I know that there was not a large variety of products but I honestly haven’t come across a lot of products this month that have the ‘Wow Factor’ other than these above but I have a lot of products on my shopping list this month that I hope to bring to you in my next favourites if they are what I hope!

I shall post again soon my lovely readers!

February Favourites 2016!!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Hey guys!

I doubt anyone has noticed but I am usually one to get my favourites up before the end of the month however I have been so held up with college work, deadlines, falling behind and just the general stress of being an A level student but nonetheless I have worked super hard to get to a point where I can fit in some blogging without falling behind! I have gathered together everything I have been loving during the February month and I will be sharing these with you guys!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

First of all is Benefit’s Porefessional Primer. I recently won an Instagram giveaway and one of the prizes I received was a small tube of this heavenly product, I cannot believe it took winning a giveaway for me to try out this product! I will most definitely be purchasing the full sized version. It has a lovely smell to it and does not dry out my skin which is a plus for someone with dry skin. It keeps my makeup in place all day and works wonderfully as a primer, I have been absolutely loving it the past month and it has entered my daily makeup routine of March!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Next is the Makeup Revolution F105 brush. This is an angled brush which is perfect for bronzing your cheeks precisely and on the right angle. I have been using this all month to apply my bronzer and all in all it is a wonderful brush! Considering how affordable this brush is the quality is extraordinary! The bristles do not fall out as I would have expected them to eventually do so and it is a super easy brush to clean. It picks up the right amount of product and applies it very nicely to the contours of my face. It is by far the best brush I have used for bronzing so far! I have the rose gold trim brush which I received in a set but if you order the brush alone it is just plain black.

In my January favourites I mentioned how I was loving the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette which I purchased in early January. I have now had a lot more time to use various shades and during February I have been specifically loving the shades ‘baby‘ and ‘punk‘. ‘Baby‘ is a white shade with a small amount of shimmer in it which I apply all over the lid and then I apply ‘punk‘ in my crease and outer corner, blending it out with a fluffy blending brush. ‘Punk‘ is a dark maroon type shade therefore it does not make this eye look a super smokey one. Once these shades are blended well they create a neutral eye look  going from a not too shimmery white to a dark brown/maroon crease that I believe is perfect for everyday wear. I have been using this combination of eye shadows almost everyday of March, well the days I didn’t oversleep! I have received many compliments and feel this is currently my go to eye look!

Another product I received in the giveaway which I won was the Nyx Butter Lip Gloss in the shade BLG15 Angel Food Cake. After avoiding using lip products for so long due to how difficult my lips are when applying product to them because they are quite dry, I have finally found something that works! This is a lovely nude, neutral shade and has a lovely consistency. It is so easy to apply with a simple doe foot applicator and my favourite part is how hydrating it is on my lips! I love using this with the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipstick in the shade Ex-Girlfriend, I only have the sample version of this which came with the eye shadow palette but I am hoping to purchase the full sized version soon!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

My final beauty favourite of February is the Seventeen Semi Permanent Tattoo Liner. This liner is amazing and most certainly lives up to its’ name! It is super matte and pigmented which is necessary if you want a super bold wing. It does have its cons such as if you get it in your lashes whilst applying it then applying mascara maybe slightly more difficult due to how quick this liner dries but apart from that I do not have a bad word to say about it! It lasts all day long and the best part is if I accidentally gently rub the corner of my eye whilst forgetting I am wearing makeup it won’t budge! Yes ladies I know you have all experienced the dreadful moment of panic and seeking reassurance from friends that you have not smudged your eyeliner but I do not have this issue when using this liner. The applicator is a small thin brush which is amazing at pulling out a perfect wing. It is a must have eyeliner and such high quality considering how low priced it is!

My next favourite is one I purchased for my new bedroom as I am moving house very soon however I couldn’t help but already use it! It is this lovely acrylic makeup storage I recently purchased. I have been looking for some acrylic storage to store some of my makeup in for a while now but from looking online acrylic storage is quite high priced but I got this beauty for just 4.99! You can see all the different compartments in the pictures and there is room for 6 lipsticks, I only have 1 MAC lipstick at the moment but I am hoping to have all 6 compartments as a home for another MAC lipstick so if you have any recommendations of non matte shades then let me know in the comments!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

I have also been loving the MyNy  DKNY perfume which I recieved as a birthday present for my last birthday. It has such a lovely scent, not too sweet but not too strong. It is one of my favourite perfumes and I have been using it almost everyday through February. The smell lasts a while and I also love the packaging, the bottle has such a cute shape to it!

Now this is where it gets a bit soppy, I’m a soppy person but I wanted to include this in my favourites this month and it has to be friends. After having a lot of friendship issues a few months ago I was on my own for quite a while but recently I managed to pull myself together, stop being so socially awkward and speak to some people who seemed so lovely and I knew would be amazing friends. These 2 people will know who they are but I am honestly so glad I stopped being so socially awkward because now I feel less alone and now college is actually bearable again! We all share a makeup addiction which is great because we can always get recommendations of each other and we are all YouTube obsessed and actually have quite a lot in common so yeah, these friends have definitely been a favourite of mine this month so thank you for being so fabulous! Also one of them has recently began blogging so click here to check her blog out!

And last but not least is my music favourite! As you may or may not now I do have a fan girl side to me and I am a huge Lovatic! In February Demi Lovato aka my idol released a music video for her latest single, Stone Cold. I absolutely love this song and was definitely not disappointed with the video! The lyrics are so deep and meaningful which is one thing I love about Demi, She is not afraid to put true emotions out there like which takes a lot of courage. Overall I love the song and have been listening to it a lot since it was released on her latest album and even more since the music video came out so it is undoubtedly my music favourite for February!

My February favourites are complete and even though I did not get them up as early as I wanted to we are not entirely too far into March anyway! I hope you enjoyed this insight into what I have been loving during February and still am!

Also I would like to say thank you to all of my lovely readers and followers from all of my social media platforms as I have recently hit an overall following of 3k which is insane! I am very grateful so thank you everybody!

I will post again soon lovelies!

January Favourites 2016

The end of the first month of 2016 is here and my has it flew by. I always mention how time has flown by so fast when it comes to doing my monthly favourites but I am pretty certain it was just the other day I was feeling super festive towards the approach to Christmas! I feel this is going to be quite a long favourites post, I like to keep them short but I have tried various new products so far this year and I did not even realize how many until I gathered together everything I have been loving this month!

My first favourite for this month has to be the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette! Just last November, Urban Decay teamed up with the wonderful Gwen Stefani to create this all time must have eye shadow palette! I purchased it at the start of the month and I have been absolutely loving it since! The shades are super pigmented and blend so easily, there are a variety of neutral shades as well as some ‘out there’ colours when you fancy something more vibrant but not too vibrant. You can find out more about why I love this eye shadow palette by clicking here!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

My next favourite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I purchased this within the last 2 weeks of January and it has now become part of my everyday routine! I cannot believe how long I took to purchase this. I have never been a fan of drugstore mascaras as they were always pretty much the same thing in my opinion, I never had found any that really worked well for me, I was always ending up with clumped lashes that were not even very long however as my roller lash supply was coming to an end and so was my bank account balance I decided to head back to drugstore mascaras and try this out and see what the whole hype was about and I am so glad I did! The applicator has an amazing shape which really separates my eye lashes whilst making them super long. I feel like I have eye lashes again! If you, like me, are reluctant to jump onto the bandwagon I urge you, hop aboard now! You will not regret it!

Another favourite from Maybelline is their Master Sculpt Contour Palette. You can read my more detailed review by clicking here but in short it has a super pigmented bronzer but it blends so easily so it is not too intense and the highlighter is beautiful! I do wish there was more highlighter in the palette as only a small section it is highlighter! I definitely recommend this if you want a good quality but affordable contour palette!

Collections’ Translucent Face Powder is what I have been using every single day of this month to set my foundation! It is so cheap and I have already hit pan in a small section of it so I will need to make a re-purchase soon! I ran out of powder towards then end of 2015 and needed something cheap I could pick up quickly to get me through the first week back at college and once payday came I would pick up something a little higher in price but that never happened as I actually enjoyed using this powder a lot more than I expected to! It is not the best powder ever but it does the job, sets my makeup so well and it smells nice too! I love the powder and will definitely be re-purchasing it!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

For Christmas one of the presents I received from my best friend were these beautiful earrings from H.Samuel I have worn them everyday since I got them and only ever take them out when I am getting in the shower or before going to bed in case they fall out whilst I am sleeping, I doubt they would as I have slept with earrings in before but I love these so much so I do not want to risk it. I cannot get over how gorgeous these earrings are I just love them so much!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

This Pure Blush Perfume from New Look smells absolutely gorgeous! I have worn it almost everyday this month and it is one of the perfumes I reach for the most out of the few I use! This is another present I received from my best friend for Christmas and she will probably be reading this so thank you so much for that! I absolutely love it, it smells amazing!

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

Frosted Plum Bath Fizzers are a must have if you are a bath lover like me! I have always stuck to using Lush Products for baths but when I received these as a Christmas present I could not stop smelling them as they smell so lovely! As soon as I got the chance I ran myself a bath and tried them out! I thought I would need more than one but a little goes a long way as one was all I needed! It dissolves in the bath making the bath smell absolutely gorgeous which leaves my skin feeling super soft and smelling super good! I am so glad I received these as a gift as I would never have thought to try them out myself and now that I have had the chance to try them out I will definitely be re-purchasing them! I will be doing a review on these soon and the matching scented body butter so keep an eye out for that!

An app has made it into my favourites this month and that has to be Instagram! I have really up’d my Instagram this month and it has shown well through the increase in my following! I have stuck to a specific theme and ventured into the land of flatlays! I get up early on a Saturday morning, well I say early but it is usually just before mid day, in order to get the best daylight possible for my flatlays, I am super happy with my current theme although I do not want it to get repetitive as I do not have the biggest of makeup collections but I do plan to grow that which works in favour of my Instagram! Click here and give me a follow if you like a good flatlay makeup theme!

Last but not least is my final favourite which is a music favourite! Last year I listened to Twenty One Pilots a few times but I have listened to them so much more in the past month! I absolutely love their music and my current favourite by them has to be Stressed Out! I definitely recommend you check them out they make some great music!

That is my first favourites post of this month complete! It is also my first January favourites as I began blogging at the end of January last year so my first favourites were my February favourites so I just want to say thank you so much for everyone that has been reading my content, following me and leaving me lovely feedback over the past year! I don’t want to get too into the whole bloggiversary yet as I am leaving that for another post which should be coming tomorrow! So keep an eye out for it and bring a box of tissues!

Let me know in the comments one of your favourite things of January whether it was a product, an item of clothing, song or even a favourite moment!

Until next time my lovelies!

November Favourites!!

Okay… I have probably said this in my favourites for the past few months but wow, where has this year gone?! I only started my blog in February and it feels like that was a long time ago but the year itself has flew by. I remember stressing about GCSE’s and my AS level mocks are already approaching me! Wondering about how I will get into a career in beauty whilst doing A levels and I’ve now enrolled onto a course to start in January! It’s crazy how much changes, some good, some bad but all for the best (the lame old excuse I use when I can’t accept change) but nonetheless it’s time for another favourites post, I have been so busy prepping for blogmas I was surprised I even noticed what I have been loving this month but I know exactly what to include in this post! Most of it is from the past week as it is stuff I received for my birthday but they’re still definite favourites for this month!

So moving on to my first beauty favourite it has to be the Makeup Revolution 144 Eye shadow Palette 2016 collection! This beautiful palette contains all the shades anybody could need for a day or night out! any event or special occasions you will find your perfect shades in this palette! My best friend gifted me this for my birthday and I was literally speechless when I saw it in the gift bag! I remember gawping at it in superdrug and now I own it! I have used it a few times but just for the neutral shades they blend so well and are quite pigmented so all in all it is a fantastic palette!

My next beauty favourite is Rimmel London’s Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil, I’ve always struggled to find an eye pencil that I really liked to tight line and water line with but this one does the job perfectly! It goes straight on without me needing to go across the waterline constantly. It doesn’t last all day if I’m being honest but it does the job for a couple of hours so it can easily just be re-applied but it’s worth it for the bargain price of £2.99!

I have only had 2 beauty favourites this month but there are also a couple lifestyle favourites!

First of all is the Yankee Christmas Treats Candle which I mentioned in my warm me up for winter tag, This was another present I received for my birthday from another good friend of mine. It has such a lovely, cosy and christmassy scent! It’s quite sweet so if you smell it for too long it can become sickly but lighting it in my room or around a bath for a while gives of such a lovely scent I absolutely love it! Definitely a favourite of November!

My next favourite is something I have been loving the whole way throughout November and that is my portable charger! I came across the Anker Portable Charger in one of Eve Bennett’s favourite videos so I purchased it before going away with NCS a few months ago and it’s been such an efficient item ever since! It is always in my handbag and as I’m at college from 9-4pm it comes in very handy, I only have to charge it back up every 3 days, I definitely recommend it for anyone needing a reliable portable charger as I was never really keen on the cheap ones from primark/pound land etc but this one is definitely worth the buy!

And as usual I occasionally include a TV favourite and this month it has to be scream queens! It’s recently just begun in the past few months and now airs in the UK! It’s like a cross between final destination and mean girls! Very gruesome but very good! I don’t want to give away any spoilers but it’s a must watch if you enjoy TV shows such as pretty little liars, gossip girl or the walking dead!

I know there isn’t really many new and exciting things to show you guys this month but I begin blogmas in 3 days and I shall hopefully be uploading a post every single day up until Christmas and they will all be super exciting so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Let me know in the comments one thing you have been loving this month!

I’ll post again soon lovelies!

October Favourites!!

These favourite posts keep coming at me super fast! I’ve done one and before I know it it’s time for another one! Time needs to slow the hell down!!

Nonetheless, It has taken me quite a while to think about what I have been loving this month as normally my favourites automatically come to me near the end of the month but I didn’t even acknowledge the end of October until the last few days and that’s when it hit me that it was favourites time! It was hard not to repeat previous favourites when getting them together but I managed not to repeat myself!

So without further ado here are my October favourites!!

First of all is a beauty product!! This has to be my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! First of all let me just rave about how gorgeous the packaging is! It’s my favourite colour, ROSE GOLD!! and I just absolutely love it! Then it gets even better inside! It has perfect neutral shades, some shimmery, a rose gold shade, a brown, and even a dark, close to black kinda shade to get into the corner of the crease for a smokey eye! So it’s perfect for everyday looks, has the right shades for this amazing season and you can also create a smokey eye if your going all out! The eye shadows are super pigmented and last a long time! This to me is the perfect eye shadow palette and I have been wearing eye shadows quite often this month so it is definitely a favourite for October!

My next 2 beauty favourites go hand in hand! It is the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Foundation and also the foundation powder. I mentioned these in my Mid-Fall Haul and didn’t think I would end up loving them enough to put them in a favourites but here they are! Both the foundation and powder give me the best coverage I have ever had! They do claim to last up to 24 hours but I know they definitely last me all day without me having to top it up at all! I love how reliable these are and they are amazing for drugstore products! I hate to say this but… I think the lasting finish is now my holy grail foundation therefore replacing the match perfection foundation which I thought was irreplaceable!

My next few favourites aren’t really beauty related but they’re still my favourites of November so…

This one kinda is beauty but borderline lifestyle, it is both the Lush products I mentioned in my Autumnal Antics & Christmas Comforts With Lush blog post!! The Magic Wand Bubble Bar has such a lovely sweet scent and makes hella bubbles! I love it! But my favourite has to be the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar! Especially for this time of the year! It has that warming cinnamon and spice scent and creates so many bubbles!! I will definitely be picking up another one of these to use before fall ends because its the perfect fall bath product, it wouldn’t be the same using it in another season!

THE SEASON. YES. FALL. AUTUMN. WHATEVER YOU WANNA CALL IT!!! I absolutely love this season, the pretty, autumnal and super photogenic trees, regular hot chocolates, warm baths (With Lush!!) surrounded by candles, shorter days and longer nights and I love how festive everything is!! There’s just some much warmer, friendly and comforting feel compared to the rest of the year and I absolutely love it!

Another favourite is Hocus Pocus! I have always thought to myself I need to watch it and I will watch it but I’ve either seen it in bits or forgotten to actually sit down, put it on and watch the whole thing but recently Zoella mentioned it in one of her videos saying it has to be one of her fave Halloween films so I thought I would finally get round to watching it and it’s perfect for this time of the year and I’m so glad I have finally watched it all! It is such a great Halloween film and super funny, perfect for all the family so if you haven’t watched it you need to watch it asap it’s amazing!!

And Last but not least is The Walking Dead, I have started it just the other day but I’m already half way through season 2!! I am officially hooked, if I didn’t watch it whilst revising I think I’d give up revising right near the start but if I do them both simultaneously I get my work done a lot better and get a lot more of it completed! It is a pretty gruesome show full of zombies, guts and gores but it has some really good plots and is such a great show! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new TV series to start!

That’s my October favourites…

I’ll post again soon lovelies!

September Favourites!!

Hey guys!! No way is it October already!! It only just hit me that I need to do my September favourites! I’m usually one for getting my monthly favourites up super early but as I’m still adjusting to college lifestyle it completely flew my mind! Anyhow I have remembered and got together a few things I have been loving this month so lets begin!

First of all I must say gel liner is my new found lover this month! At the start of September or maybe even late August, after months of contemplating I finally picked up the gel liner I have been looking into for a while!! Rimmel Scandalyes Waterproof Gel Liner, I have absolutely been loving it my eyeliner is so much more pigmented and very bold! It’s not the easiest for a wing but after drawing my wing shape with regular eyeliner I go over it with the gel to make it more bold and it looks absolutely gorgeous!!

My second beauty favourite has to be this lovely contour palette by makeup revolution!! I previously tried out the Bourjois bronzer and highlighting duo which featured in a previous favourites however I now really dislike it and im so glad I came across this amazing super affordable contour palette by my go to drugstore brand!! The bronzer is very strong and blends so well it’s high end quality! The highlighter highlights perfectly and I don’t really use the blusher but it’s quite bronze toned rather than pink toned. I definitely give this palette a 9/10 it’s a must have especially for £3.50!!

My final beauty favourite is my real techniques core collection brush set, I was lucky enough to get this for half the price at £10.99 when boots had an offer on! I did mention it in my August Favourites but that was just specifically one of the brushes but over the full month of September I have used every single brush and they are amazing specifically the foundation brush!! I have always stuck to using sponges for applying my foundation and in the past year I have stuck to using the real techniques miracle complexion sponge because I have always disliked foundation brushes but I thought I would give this one a try and I am so glad I did, I haven’t gone back to my sponge since! The brush gives such amazing long lasting coverage and a beautiful glow! I prefer blending in my concealer with this too as it conceals for longer and applies it so much better than how I have previously applied it! But all in all the full brush kit is amazing and definitely worth the price!

That is my beauty favourites complete! I know it isn’t a lot but they are the only 3 things I have been loving before that isn’t anything I have mentioned in previous favourites!

My fashion favourites would be everything in my College/Fall Mini Haul blog post so be sure to check that out!

Last but not least is my music favourites!

The first song has to be Rachel Platten – Fight Song its so deep and meaningful I love it!! and my second has to be Martin Solveig & GTA – Intoxicated its such a tune and really puts me in a good mood so be sure to check them out!!

I don’t really have a TV favourite this month I’m still watching the same shows I always have but a new season of Once Upon A Time has finally begun so I am super excited about that, the first episode was amazing!!

That is my September Favourites…

Hope you guys enjoyed an insight into all I have been loving the past month!

I’ll post again soon lovelies!

August Favourites!!

Okay so a few days ago it hit me, I need to do my August Favourites! Wait, what? August is ending already?! I only have 4 more favourites posts to do this year! Well that flew by quickly, I’ve almost been blogging for a whole year! Anyway you know the drill, this is the post where I tell you guys what I have been loving this month!!

First of all is this Little Book Of Confidence, You may have seen this, along with some of the other favourites, in my previous blog post, Collective Haul. I picked up this book as confidence is something I have been trying to work on, I hate it when I go into a situation excited and then BAM! It hits me, I feel awkward, out of place, shy and I become conscious of every move I make, fearing it may be wrong. I don’t want to feel like this anymore, I want to be confident in new surroundings so this book has been a little companion of mine in helping me, advising me and inspiring me to become more confident! It has so good tips and very good quotes in it and I have been definitely loving it this month!

Next is the adorable cup! I purchased this from Primark in Gabriella Lindley’s (VelvetGh0st’s) collection which she has recently bought out! It was in my college essentials blog post because I will be using it for college as it is the perfect, cute cup I have been searching for! I have only had it for about a week however I have used it every single day and it deserves to be included in my August favourites!

Now at boots until the 1st of September they have the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Kit for half price! It was £21.99 but now it is £10.99!! I picked it up and one brush I have been loving from it ever since is the buffing brush. I find it so much easier to apply powder over my foundation and the brush is so soft and picks up the perfect amount of product! All in all I absolutely love it!

I’m pretty sure the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner may have featured in a favourites before however I am still loving it! This is the second time I have purchased this eyeliner and it is the longest I have stuck to a specific one! I will definitely be reviewing this soon and I definitely recommend it to anyone on the hunt for a good eyeliner because this is currently my holy grail eyeliner!

And my final favourite of the month is this EOS Lip Balm. The packaging is cute! However at first I wasn’t to keen on the product because it wasn’t all it was made out to be and is definitely over hyped. Nonetheless this month I have been using it quite often and it is still really hydrating on my lips and still a very good product, I rarely used it previously but this month I have used it near enough everyday and I must say my opinion on it has definitely changed!!

There are all the products I have been loving this month! Let me know in the comments what is one of your favourites for this month!

I’ll post again soon lovelies!
