I haven’t done a monthly favourites since June because I simply felt my favourites posts were becoming forced and every month I would have to think about what exactly I had been loving rather than it coming naturally to me and I don’t want to feel like my posts are forced even if the content in them is the truth so every now and again I will do a current favourites blog post when I naturally realise I have been loving various products that have really stood out to me so here is to the first of many favourites blog posts!
Firstly is the Collection Eyebrow Kit in Brunette, I won’t go into too much detail as I reviewed the palette which you can read here but this has seriously up’d my makeup game and completely transformed my everyday look! It’s crazy how such an affordable product can make such a significant difference and I highly recommend this little holy grail of mine along with the Sixplus Cosmetics E04 brush which I use to apply the product in the eyebrow kit and you can find out where to get this game changer by reading this blog post featuring the kit I recieved the brush in!
Next is the Nyx Liquid Suede in Cherry Skies. This is a gorgeous warm burgundy shade perfect for this time of the year to complete that stunning autumnal look. It is a liquid lipstick therefore it dries matte which is great in comparison to the Nyx butter glosses which would constantly have your hair sticking to your lips in this seasons windy weather so a liquid lipstick is a must have for me at this time of the year. It is so easy to apply and lasts all day only requiring one touch up after drinking/eating but to me that is amazing as it doesn’t fade and has little transfer. I definitely recommend this product!
Last but not least is my ultimate game changer. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This spray has changed my life for the better. I purchased 3 of the smaller sized bottles before investing in the larger one so for anyone looking to try it out, the mini one is only £9! I finally purchased the larger one as I knew it would obviously last me longer and I had completely fallen in love with the product. Here is a story that pretty much sums up the quality and strength of this setting spray; When joining the festive atmosphere of Albert Square for the Manchester Christmas lights switch on I applied this setting spray after doing my makeup before leaving the house. During the event it rained very heavily to the point that I had rain dripping off of my face and I looked like I had just come out of the shower… Feeling like my eyebrows had been washed away and my eyeliner had perhaps dripped down my face when finally getting out of the crowd to find shelter my makeup was still completely intact without any patchiness, fading or any product being washed away! I was completely gobsmacked at how amazing the setting spray worked and now I love it even more than I already did. I highly recommend this product and it is certainly my number 1 favourite beauty product at the moment!
Just a few favourites to keep it short and sweet! I’ll be back very soon with another post.
