So before the month ends as I get back into the scheme of things I would like to get my blogger interview for May up! This is my way of connecting with more bloggers, having them answer my questions but sharing them with my wonderful readers so you can all get to know many other bloggers in the blogesphere that gets larger by the day!
Last month I interview the lovely Fran from FrannyMac. This months interview we have the wonderful Anne from Annesmiles a sports lover who’s motivation I envy! I wish I had the motivation to workout regularly and keep fit and healthy! She has a lovely lifestyle blog full of not just informative fitness posts but healthy recipes too so if you are trying to get fit for summer I am pretty sure you can find some great advice from Anne’s blog I know I will be heading there more often! Keep reading to find out more about this wonderful blogger!
I’m Anne, a 21-year-old blogger and sports-science student from Denmark.
At it’s core, my blog is about health; physical as well as mental, so besides workouts and recipes, I write a lot different lifestyle posts. Overall I try to make it my positive little slice of the internet and be both informative and entertaining (some people would claim I’m a little silly sometimes)
Actually, I went self hosted at the start of May! I love how much freedom it gives, and there’s some super helpful plugins.
I have in fact purchased the design I’m using right now (I think it was about $25). One of the bonuses of purchasing a design (if you find a proper designer) is that you get access to the designer’s support forum! I found invaluable help and advice about installation and customization.
Lifestyle, without a doubt! I think it’s easier to make lifestyle posts personal, and that’s what I enjoy writing and reading the most.
Well… Annesmiles.com is actually not my first blog – I’ve been blogging there for over around 9 months, but I first entered the blogging world nearly 5 years ago (wauw, that’s a lot longer than I expected)
It’s difficult to boil my experience down to one moment. I’ve never been to a blogger event or meet up, but a memory that stands out to me is when I first opened up about my depression and anxiety. I hadn’t been blogging very long, and I was very overwhelmed by all the support and stories from people in a similar situation.
That’s such a tough question! I don’t even know what I want to be when I grow up (and I’m kinda grown up already). I do hope that my blog continues to grow, and as my education in sports science & health is closely related to what I blog about, it would be interesting if I could combine it somehow, but so far it’s just a silly idea.
So far it’s been around Christmas. Over the holidays I finally had time to blog, and I started putting more effort into my posts.
It’s tough to pick just 3, because I’m inspired by so many talented bloggers in different ways.
But a few of them are:
Thank you too the amazing Anne for answering my questions!
