Product Empties!!

Hey guys!

I have been wanting to do a product empties blog post for a while now and as you can tell from the picture above I have gone through quite a lot of various products! I would like to share these empties with you guys so perhaps you may discover new products to try or get an opinion on products you have been curious as to try out! I have been using these products over a long period of time and enjoyed using every single one which is why there is so many of a few of them, so without further ado lets get straight into this product empties post!

The first of my product empties is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This was hyped in the beauty community for such a long time so I had to try it out and ever since my first purchase I never looked back, makeup wipes became history! The micellar water works a treat at removing makeup, it breaks it down so easily. All I do is apply a small amount to a cotton pad and wipe away sections of my makeup like I would with a wipe. I have gone through so many of these bottles, the larger bottle lasted for  a while but the smaller ones only last me about 2-3 weeks. I highly recommend this as a makeup remover, if you have not tried the micellar water yet then you must try it now!

Next is the Rimmel London foundations. Firstly the Match Perfection which was my holy grail for such a long time until I tried the Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation which has now been my holy grail for the last year! It has amazing coverage considering it is a drugstore foundation and it lasts all day without going patchy in areas! The Match perfection is great if you are starting out with makeup and are not out all day and the Lasting Finish is great for if you want to step up a little bit and like me spend most the day at college or work long hours. I highly recommend this, it is by far the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried! I think the version of the Match Perfection product I used has been discontinued but the new version must be far more improved!

Another from the drugstore brand Rimmel London. The Lasting Finish 25hr Powder, this goes well with the Lasting Finish foundation, it sets it in place making it last even longer and if you prefer a more matte base then this is perfect for just that! I did only purchase this once but I am looking at purchasing it again very soon! There is only a small pan of product and I would say it is much higher priced than I would expect it to be worth but if you have the money to splurge then definitely try this out because it is overall a great product!

The next 2 drugstore powders are both very similar as they are translucent powders. The Rimmel London Clear Complexion Powder and the Collection Pressed Powder. The Rimmel London powder works amazingly at setting foundation in place to ensure it lasts all day and again if you prefer a matte base this would be wonderful but the Collection Pressed Powder is what impressed me the most! For the price of just £1.99 this powder is absolutely amazing! I got so much out of it and was not at all disappointed in the product, the Rimmel powder costs slightly more but is nowhere near as good as the Collection powder! I love them both but I do have a preference for the collection powder, not just in quality but also for the price, it smells amazing too!

Another wow product from Collection is the hyped up Lasting Perfection Concealer! This product is loved by many beauty gurus and makeup addicts, I only have 3 in the picture but I am certain I have gone through over twice as many! This concealer has such good coverage when it comes to concealing dark circles and blemishes. It also doubles up as a spectacular highlighter. If you are looking to try a good concealer then this is a must! It works wonders and I have stuck to using it for so long because everything else I have tried does not compare to how great this concealer is!

Last but most certainly not least is eye liners! If you know me then you know that I love a good winged eye liner, nothing completes a look like wings big enough to fly away from all of your problems! In order to get that fleekiness you need a good product to use! First of all is the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner, this was the first gel liner I have ever tried and it worked so well, it has a great consistency, unlike the Collection Gel Liner I recently purchased which I found was too dry to use, It glides on very nicely and lasted me such a long time without drying out! It is a pricey product in my opinion but I will definitely be repurchasing it!

I have gone through at least 3 Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliners! Soap and Glory is such an amazing brand and I still have so much of the Soap and Glory products to try out so if you recommend anything then be sure to let me know in the comments! My favourite thing about this liner is how easy it is to control due to the pen like tip. It is not a thin brush that may flick in the wrong direction, it is a tip similar to one on a felt tip pen which you don’t have to worry about picking up too much product with as it is all inside the pen. It is so easy to control especially when it comes to getting that perfect, flawless wing! I definitely recommend this, especially if you are just starting out with eyeliner and want something that you have more control with!

So, that is all my recent product empties that go back to even a year ago! I definitely urge that you try some of these products out if you haven’t already, I highly recommend the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation, The Collection Pressed Powder, and the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner, oh and to remove all that wonderful product, the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water!

I’ll post again soon lovelies but bear with me as exam season is here!
