Beauty Wishlist!!

Untitled-1

Hey guys! It has been such a long time since I did a wishlist! As I have recently fallen in love with various makeup products that I most desperately need I thought I would do a wishlist and share it with you guys, hopefully if you own any of these products you could let me know your opinion on them or this could give you some inspiration if you are looking for some new products to try out! Growing my makeup collection is something I really want to do this year, I have never looked so forward to payday however I also fear it as I cannot save money no matter how hard I try, I am always makeup splurging but it is definitely worth it! Hopefully over the next few months I will work towards owning all of these products!

First of all is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator. This is an absolutely gorgeous highlight powder and it is such a beautiful product! Within the mosaic pattern is 2 wonderful shades, Peach nectar, a cool beige with champagne gold undertones and a touch of silver and Riviera, a pale champagne pink with rose undertones and golden and silver highlights. After noticing the hype around the Champagne pop highlighter from the collaboration between Becca cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill I had my heart set on purchasing that however after seeing this highlighter I have most definitely had a change of heart! I can only dream of the glow it will give my cheek bones, I definitely need this in my makeup collection!

Next is the very popular MAC Soft & Gentle highlighter, I am sure if you are reading this post, unless you have been living under a rock, you will most definitely know of this product. I may be one of the last to jump onto the bandwagon but it seems like such a beautiful highlighter and I would really love to try it out and see what the whole hype is about!

Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick Bitch Perfect is a beautiful pink/nude shade. From swatching it at their makeup counter I found it has such a lovely consistency and was a gorgeous shade. I am also a sucker for Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging, unlike other makeup brands they clearly put a lot of work into making their packaging a gorgeous close to rose gold shade! Nothing completes a great product like a packaging that many of us bloggers would instantly fall in love with!

Another gorgeous product from Charlotte Tilbury which I wish to soon own is this Bar Of Gold Skin Gliding Highlighter!! In case you have not noticed already, I am really up for trying some high end highlighters. I am on the hunt for something that gives my cheek bones a beautiful glow and I think this will do the trick! Again I am in love with this packaging and the design of the actual product, the way they have created it to look like a block of gold is so unique in comparison to other basic compact highlighters. I am certain every makeup junkie dreams of owning this product!

Late on the bandwagon for another product hype! Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette, I must say I am glad I did not purchase it as soon as it came out as the price has dropped a lot! There has been a major hype around this palette as the contouring trend has become more popular. I have heard wonderful things about this product, not only would I like to own it but I would also love to have it as part of my makeup artist kit I am slowly trying to put together. From the hype around it, it is very clear that it is a very high quality product and I cannot wait until I can purchase it!

The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray will probably be one of the first things I purchase when I began making this wishlist a reality! I have heard wonderful things about this product and if you don’t know what it is then you must be living under a rock! It sets your makeup and keeps it in place all day! I really want to try this to find out if it is worth the hype and also because I am looking into trying various setting sprays starting off with this!

Another one from Urban Decay, in case you had not noticed already, Urban Decay is definitely one of my favourite high end brands! I have only used their eye products so far but have never been disappointed so I am hoping to move onto trying their face products! I originally wanted to try the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer however I heard it is not too good on dry skin and can be quite drying, as I have dry skin I realised that the pro longwear was not for me so I did a bit more research and came to realise that the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer was a much more hydrating and beneficial option so hopefully I will soon try it out!

After purchasing Velvet Teddy from MAC and being quite disappointed as it was very drying on my lips I did a bit of research. Velvet teddy is a matte nude shade whereas this shade, Brave, is more of a hydrating but a similar nude. I really want to find the perfect nude shade for me so I am hoping to try this out! Recently a MAC worker recommended a lip conditioner to me which would prevent the Velvet Teddy from being so drying, I am hoping to also try that out and see how it works for me but I still want to try Brave as I think I may prefer it!

This Rose Gold Zoeva Palette is gorgeous! I have really gotten into my eye shadows recently and I feel I am getting a lot better at applying them! I am building up my collection of palettes and would like to next add this to it! It has such beautiful nude shades, I am certain I will love each one and rose gold has to be one of my favourite colours so it is a win win situation!

I would also like to order some Makeup Geek eye shadows and begin building up my own Z Palette. The shades I would like to start out with are Simply Marlena, Goddess, Cupcake, Rockstar and Roulette. They are a bunch of stunning shades I feel I could work really well with and I have heard so many good things about Makeup Geek! I feel some of these shades would also be perfect for summer. Typical me getting excited for a season months before it begins!

Last but certainly not least is this Nyx Cosmetics Loose Mineral Finishing Powder. I want to try baking more and Nyx is a good quality but affordable brand from what I have heard so as I want to try some of their products I thought start with this loose powder would be a good idea!

Hopefully I will slowly begin to work my way through this wishlist! Feel free to share your opinion on any of these products if you have tried them by tweeting me or commenting on this post! Hope you have enjoyed reading my wishlist because I really enjoyed making it!

Until next time my lovelies!

I so want that CT lipstick too! It looks gorgeous! The Makeup Geek eyeshadows are so good and super affordable, I definitely recommend them! I think you’ll like Mac Brave too! Definitely a lot more comfortable than Velvet Teddy!
